Return Policy

Habitat Red Deer Restore Online does not issue cash, credit, or debit refunds. All items purchased online are FINAL SALE excluding appliances and toilets.

Appliances can be returned for an in-store credit or exchanged for an item (or items) of an equivalent value for up to 30 days from the date of purchase, with the original receipt or original confirmation email receipt. Toilets can be returned for in-store credit or exchanged for an item (or items) of an equivalent value for up to 10 days from the date of purchase. With the original receipt or original confirmation email receipt.

Appliances or toilets must be in their original condition at the time of purchase. Items that are in unsellable condition or have incurred damage due to accidents, improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear will not be accepted.

Habitat for Humanity Red Deer ReStore Online reserves the right to limit or decline a return or exchange at our discretion at any time for any reason. This Return Policy may be modified at any time without notice.

Exceptions subject to manager approval

In-Store Credit: An in store credit for items purchased over $300.00 may be considered if the customer is dissatisfied with the product.

In-store credit issued for a return has an expiry date of one calendar year from the date of issue. In-store credit cannot be replaced or reissued if it is lost or stolen. 

An original receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.

If you cannot provide proof of purchase, we will not be able to issue a return or exchange, for store credit. A receipt is proof of purchase and the only way to verify a purchase was made online; receipts provide details including sale items or discounts. Alternatively, purchased items can be donated back to the ReStore and you may be eligible to receive a charitable donation receipt.

For customer convenience, we offer short-term holding on purchased items to allow customers to arrange for pick-up. Customers who fail to pick up items within the allotted 10 days of the scheduled pickup date will be contacted as a reminder that they still have their sold items on hold. If after 10 days the item still has not been picked up the item will then be classified as abandoned and returned to our sales floor for resale.  Your purchase amount will not be refunded but will be considered a donation.

Pickup Policy

Items will be fulfilled when order is received. Please wait until you receive the Ready for Pickup email before proceeding to the store to pick up.

We will hold your purchased merchandise for a maximum of 10 days after the 'Ready for Pick-up' email has been sent. Proof of purchase is required prior to the release of the item(s).

Items not picked up within 10 days will be considered donated to the Habitat Red Deer ReStore and may be resold or used by the Habitat ReStore for any purpose. No refund will be provided.
